The truth about Kate Middleton is that she looks great no matter what. Beyond-toned body, beautiful hair, 1,000-watt smile...she hardly needs a fancy outfit to look gorgeous. That said, we're generally less than enthusiastic about her wardrobe. Wrap dresses upon wrap dresses, plain, sensible pumps, and not a pattern or print in sight — pretty much what you'd expect from a royal. But she just broke the mold on the Diamond Jubilee tour in Singapore. The duchess stunned in a Prabal Gurung spring '12 sheath dress with a complex, razor-sharp print.
Prabal is pretty edgy for Kate Middleton, but it looks like the risk paid off. Of course, she stuck to plain heels and a simple-but-lovely clutch, thus managing to keep the look appropriately toned down. Here's to hoping she keeps up the good work!
