First came back Kork-Eases, then clogs, and then came those perforated mule sandals from Worishofer and those dammed flatforms... the clunky, ugly shoe is a trend that isn't going away anytime soon. Fashionista asked if these—this white-soled sneaker/loafer from Ecco called the "Joke"—were going to be the next big thing, and we have to say that we hope not, but we can see it happening. Fashionable Copenhagen ladies are already rocking these shoes, and—when taking a look at the front row of this adorable 1983 school photo, pictured below—besides the "Jokes", we're already wearing every other iteration of sneaker, clog, and Mary-Jane featured.
