Carly Rae Jepsen Just Seduced Us With Her Rap Skills

Imagine waking up and finding out Carly Rae Jepsen was coming to your office to spit some sick rhymes at you. Unfortunately, that's not exactly what happened here. Since May, Refinery29 has been hosting its first ever live talk show on Periscope. In Bed With R29 is framed as a sleepover, that just that happens to be a talk show. Each week, Vanessa Golmebeski and I tackle tough topics in life, and make them easy to talk about. BUT, this week was different — we convinced Jepsen to be our guest, and on the day her new album Emotion was released in stores. While we weren't about to force Jepsen to give us her thoughts on bathroom habits with a significant other, we DID get her to lay in bed with us, tried to feed her copious amounts of cold bacon, and dramatically (or emotionally) read rap lyrics. Basically, Jepsen nailed it, and proved that she's just as perfect as her new album.
