Jaden Smith is the king of cryptic. Rumors of a reported romance between the rapper/actor/philosopher and one Kylie Jenner have been circulating for some time, and culminated in September. That was when Smith professed his love for the reality star, tweeting, "I love Kylie Jenner." But, Jenner has since been linked to rapper Tyga, and her relationship status with Smith has officially entered "it's complicated" territory.
And, based on the new video for Smith's emo rap ballad "Blue Ocean," that's exactly how they like it.
Directed by Smith's BFF and former Hannah Montana star Moises Arias, the moody, avant-garde clip features Smith and Jenner in various states of embrace, prompting us to wonder: Are they or aren't they?

It's a shrewd move for two stars whose caches are largely based on the celebrity industrial complex's perpetuation of their online personas. Smith was once a movie star, but that was pre-After Earth, the bloated sci-fi misfire that nearly wrecked the careers of both father and son. He's since become best known for his psychedelic Twitter musings and his blossoming career as a bedroom rap star. Kylie Jenner, on the other hand, is, well...Kylie Jenner. The Internet is what she does best.
