The newlywed reality star tricked her fans into thinking she had dyed her hair blonde yesterday by posting a series of photos of her newly lightened locks. The most compelling selfie featured a cameo by celebrity hair guru Serge Normant and the caption, "It's baaaaack!!!! #BlondeHairDontCare." (Side note: Can we retire this hashtag, please?)
The picture prompted a flood of comments from fans bemoaning the dye job and pleading for her to go back to her signature dark color. Never one to disappoint her legions of Kardashi-fans, the star posted an update revealing that her new look was just a wig. Disaster averted, people. (Good one, Kim.)

On the other hand, maybe it wasn't a wig and Kardashian was just so deflated by the negative feedback that she immediately went back to dark. Kind of like that time you wore a Blossom hat in fourth grade and then later played it off as a joke when your friends cried foul?
