It looks like Cara Delevingne isn't the only British supermodel getting into the acting biz. Suki Waterhouse has been cast in the Divergent sequel Insurgent as Marlene, a member of the Dauntless faction.
Book readers will be relieved that the fan favorite will finally make an appearance, after she was totally excluded from the first film.
The 22-year-old stunner is best known for her work with Burberry — and for being Bradley Cooper's on-again off-again girlfriend. She turned heads on carpet after carpet last year, when she was Cooper's de facto date during his American Hustle awards season push.
Waterhouse has already proven she can act, with minor roles in the TV series Material Girl and the 2012 British crime thriller Pusher. This however, is a different beast entirely. Divergent has grossed $150 million at the domestic box office to date, and its sequel is expected to do much of the same when it's released on March 20, 2015.
By the looks of it, movie stardom may very well be in Waterhouse' future. We wonder who she can turn to for advice from making the transition for supermodel to superstar? (Elle)
