Vergara and Loeb reportedly had a temporary split in June 2012, just before their engagement the following month. Now, however, the star confirms their separation.
The two were last seen together at the White House Correspondent's Dinner earlier this month. In an attempt to thwart rumors and hurtful media spins, the Modern Family star took to her Twitter and WhoSay pages to announce the news directly to her fans.
In the announcement, she writes, "We have being [sic] having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and becouse [sic] of my work and now his, its [sic] been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore."
"We are still very close but we belive [sic] is the best thing for us right now," she writes in closing. This may not be the end of the celebrity couple, given their rumored on-again off-again relationship patterns. But, for now, it looks like they're going their separate ways. (E! Online)
