Here’s A Good Reason To Dress Up This Fashion Week

London, Natalie Massenet MBE, founder of Net-A-Porter and chairman of the British Fashion Council has something to say: We all need to dress up. In an open letter in The Evening Standard, Massenet explains her call for Londoners to put on their finery and take the to the runway streets: "From Friday, September 13, to Tuesday, September 17, thousands of guests from all over the world descend upon the city for London Fashion Week. It promises to be five days that showcase the very best of British fashion industry talent and one of the highlights of the capital’s summer, with shows, exhibitions, and presentations. And while the shows are a trade event, fashion is for the consumer so dress up, London! Be your most stylish self for the week and give London the boldest and brightest fashion face and the loudest fashion voice possible."
