If we had to guess the story behind the Marlins new home run display, it would be that the MLB got confused the animatronic bug and hired the folks behind the "It's A Small World" ride at Disney World. Or, maybe they devoted so much thought to building the new stadium, they ran out of ideas and decided to resurrect a discarded Chuck E. Cheese exhibit. The result is a lot of pomp and ceremony (and flying aquatic mammals), yet not enough common sense. Marlins, if the flamingos are as big the trees, we need to go back to basic drafting class!
