H&M And Maison Martin Margiela’s Silent Manifesto Swings Through S.F.!

hm
Did you happen to notice a flurry of apron-clad, sign-holding hotties strolling through S.F. on Saturday? Nope, it was not a mirage or another political protest, but rather an effort to gain citywide excitement for one of H&M’s most anticipated collaborations... you know, the one with Maison Martin Margiela! As if we weren’t already marking the days down on the calendar. It’s true — after ogling every piece, we have our wish lists ready to roll and plan to go all door busters on the Powell Street location. That candy-wrapper clutch will be ours!
H&M’s Silent Manifesto led 12 groups of 25 fashion enthusiasts through S.F. traffic, up hills, and all around town to get peeps pumped on the collection (which in case you've been chilling under a rock, launches November 15.) Holding nothing but a sign with the crucial 411 on it, San Franciscans definitely got the style-centric message. Our fair city was actually the only US hub to hold the demonstration, which we think is a bona fide bragging right, eh? Did you stumble upon the sign-wielding army this weekend? Do tell!
