Yves Saint Laurent Documentary Comes To Toronto Film Festival

On Saturday night at the Toronto Film Festival, moviegoers will be able to see a documentary that shines a light on one of the most illustrious fashion designers of the past century and the love of his life, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge. The movie, L'Amour Fou, was directed by Pierre Thoretton (who met Berge after his former mother-in-law Catherine Deneuve introduced the two) and features never-before-seen archival footage of Laurent with Andy Warhol and Mick Jagger, as well as interviews with Berge as he compiled their vast art collection for the auction that was dubbed the sale of the century. The movie is an incredible study of a 50-year long tempestuous relationship, and with cameos by Loulou De La Falaise and Betty Catroux, this will most certainly be an ideal film for any fashion aficionado.
