Your Ultimate Thursday Night Party-Hopping Guide

Jennie Going West
Really, who doesn’t need a little party break during the repetitive workweek? We’re certainly on board — which is why we’ve rounded up tonight’s hottest events for all you fashion-obsessed night owls. From sweet savings on local threads to a brand-spankin’-new store opening, tonight has something for every sartorially driven guy and gal. Scope out the full list and tell us your party-hopping plans in the comments below!
Louisa Parris Trunk Show
We’ve been borderline obsessed with Louisa Parris’ graphic hot air balloon-inspired scarves ever since she taught us how to wrap the silky pieces in the most creative ways — and tonight, we finally get to try them on for size! Head over to Press: Works on Paper for this exclusive one-night trunk show.
When: Thursday, November 17, 6-9 p.m.
Where: Press: Works On Paper, 3492 22nd Street (between Dolores and Guerrero streets); 415-913-7156.

Mira Mira Hair Braiding Party
Obviously, we've got a little something for hair braiding. And whether you like them thick or thin, pinned up or hanging loose, tonight's Ladies Night at Mira Mira will delight everyone, thanks to local blogger Jennie Lodge, who will be on hand teaching attendees how to twist their locks in every which way. We suggest pairing your newly styled hair with a design from the shop, which will all be 20% off all night long.
When: Thursday, November 17, 6-9 p.m.
Where: Mira Mira, 3292 22nd Street (at Valencia Street); 415-648-6513.
Maas & Stacks OK Pop-Up Shop
The snazziest addition to the Castro, this indie menswear shop is teaming up with the L.A.-based home furnishing shop OK, which will be popping up with an assortment of design-influenced merchandise (think vintage books and home décor!) at tonight’s holiday-themed event. Cute boys, we're assuming, will also be a-plenty.
When: Thursday, November 17, 6-9 p.m.
Where: MAAS & Stacks, 2128 Market Street (at Church Street); 415-678- 5629.
49 Square Miles Grand Opening
You can’t get any more local than celebrating the grand opening of a new boutique named after our beloved city. And tonight, you can be one of the first to scour the store’s selection of luxurious accessories, with shop proceeds benefiting Project 2020, which supports underprivileged kids through swim-related activities.
When: Thursday, November 17, 4-8 p.m.
Where: 49 Square Miles, 160 South Linden Avenue, (at Dollar Avenue).
Seedstore Supports New Traditions School
Want to win a weekender bag by Pendleton Portland and some Butter London nail polish, all while supporting a good cause? Head to Seedstore’s one-night-only event in honor of the New Traditions School and enter to win the aforementioned raffle, sip on wine, and scarf down cupcakes by Cynically Delicious. Talk about a win-win.
When: Thursday, November 17, 5-8 p.m.
Where: Seedstore, 212 Clement Street, (between 3rd and 4th avenues); 415-386-1600.
