NYC’s Most Awesome Guy Lookbook: Woolrich Has Next Fall’s Wardrobe

Is it odd that Mark McNairy, from South Carolina, took the look of Woolrich Woolen Mills – an ancient Pennsylvania brand – and made the a collection perfect for Gotham sidewalks? Okay, maybe it's a little strange. But lots of weird things happen around here.
McNairy has been holding it down for WWM for the past few seasons – after some solid work for prepster princes J. Press – but for fall/winter '12, he's hitting the New York man right where it counts. Quilted jackets, perfect pants, and so on — this stuff was made for blustery evenings in the city — this stuff is going to look on point whether you're a bike messenger, hanging out at the National Arts Club, or somewhere in between. Apparently the inspiration behind the line is Sergio Leone's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly – and really, where else do you find more of all three other than here in NYC?
