We Heart Unionmade’s Super-Rad, Illustrated Spring Lookbook

Unionmade has long been one of our favorite men’s shops in the city, and now our crush just deepened a little further thanks to the boutique’s amazing new spring lookbook. Instead of opting for photography, owner Todd Barket enlisted illustrator Richard Haines to sketch 18 of the shop’s friends and favorite customers, along with short bios on each of them. Within the digital book we get to meet Val, a 26-year-old musician from Lake Merritt, Kelly, a 45-year-old photographer and videographer living in the Presidio, and even Buddy, Unionmade’s flesh-and-blood mascot who fancies bread and jam from Tartine Bakery (don’t we all!). “We’ve been wanting to work with Richard Haines and we are huge fans of his illustration style,” explains Barket. “And for spring, it felt fresh and was a nice departure from photography.” Take a look and see if you concur!
