While the beloved 30 Rock character was working on her night cheese on the Upper West Side, Tina Fey stepped out in midtown wearing a head-turning ensemble that would've made Lemon cringe in her sweatsuit. But, when you've got a date with David Letterman, you've got to dress up.
For The Late Show With David Letterman taping, the comedian opted for a formfitting high-waisted black skirt and strapless green tube top. To give the traditional cocktail silhouette a modern twist, the bustier is embellished with small golden flowers that's whimsical but not silly. Fey says no to additional embellishments, rounding out the look with a pair of classic black patent heels (and an unmistakeable red sole).
Fey is currently promoting her new film, This Is Where I Leave You. The cast includes Jason Bateman, Jane Fonda, and a whole slew of celebrities that'll surely make for fun red-carpet interactions. But, we're looking forward to more Liz Lemon done up on the press tour.
