Single Dad Goes To Cosmetology School To Learn How To Style His Daughter’s Hair

After all the commercials about good dads during the Super Bowl, you'd think Father's Day was right around the corner (for all of you who just had mild panic attacks, it's not). But, you could've fooled us. Continuing in that trend, single dad Greg Wickherst has been in the news of late. According to The Huffington Post, Wickherst has been shaving his head for the majority of his adult life, so, when it came to styling his almost-three-year-old daughter Izzy's hair he was, understandably, pretty lost.   Instead of leaving this task to Izzy's mother (from whom he split over a year ago), he visited the cosmetology department at IntelliTec College in Colorado, where he works, and asked the students to help him out. "In no time, I was able to do a simple braid, then a fishbone braid, and a French braid. I learned how to do a ponytail, then flip it through itself either under or over. I call that an inverted ponytail," he said. "Aww," we said.   If you didn't know, we kind of have a thing for dads who do their daughters' hair, so this story warmed our cold beauty-editor hearts. It's not only ridiculously adorable, but really commendable. Fathers around the world, take note: This is how that whole positive-male-role-model thing is done. Head over to The Huffington Post to check out some more of Izzy's hairstyles, and prepare to be seriously impressed. (The Huffington Post)
