Frosted is not a word one usually wants to hear in relation to her beauty look. We've seen a few cool metallic manicures or a pretty ice-princess eyeshadow look, but generally frosted makeup just gives us bad flashbacks to the '80s. Which is why it's weird that we're suddenly seeing wintry-hued lipsticks all over the place.
First, Lady Gaga strutted her stuff in blue lipstick, and then several prominent beauty brands released icy lip colors in their holiday collections. Duwop's new Blue Venom leaves lips with just a hint of a teeth-brightening blue tint, while MAC's Glitter & Ice Lipstick in Eloquent imparts a sheer silver sheen on lips. Yes, the effect is much more understated then, say, that J.Lo. video from a few years back, but we're still on the fence with this one.
