The holiday season brings parties, formal events, family get-togethers, and a million other reasons to get your hair done. After all, there are so many options for party hairstyles — from intricate updos to Jessica Rabbit waves. But, there aren’t as many for women with short hair, right?
Wrong. Although pixie cuts are great because they don't need a lot of day-to-day maintenance, you can also transform your casual pixie into something a little more glamorous. It can look angelic with soft waves; it can be anything from twee to edgy with the help of the right hairpiece; a swept-back pixie can be elegant; and a slicked-back pixie can be sexy.
And, you don’t need a ton of skill, or even a huge arsenal of different products, to create a lot of different short hairstyles. To prove it, we’ve rounded up a few styles(rocked by some of our fave short-haired celebs) that only require one product or tool. Even better, the majority of them can be pulled together in as little as five minutes. Click through for tips and inspiration (and if you have long hair, be sure to hide the scissors first).
