Shabd Takes Tie Dye To The Next Level For Spring ’12

One New York designer is taking tie dye out of the context of Woodstock festival and moving it closer to the boardwalk. Just in time for our seasonal wardrobe makeover, snow cones, sugarcane, and fruit pops make an appearance in Shabd's new spring '12 pieces.
Mixing and dying everything herself, Shabd Simon-Alexander, the line's creator, takes this season's mouth-watering pastels and incorporates one-of-a-kind tie dye and digital prints. Inspired by her recent trip to Mexico, each skirt, tank, and dress in the earthy collection is irresistibly delicious. With a mix of soft colors and loose silhouettes, these looks scream summertime — even if the weather isn't on the same page, yet.
