Dig Up Your Prom Dress This Weekend — For A Good Cause!

princess project
With spring cleaning firmly under way, we know you've probably got your fair share of fancy dresses that are needlessly collecting dust in the back of your closet. And the Princess Project is here to help you offload them.
Founded in 2002, the non-profit gathers new and gently worn evening and cocktail frocks and re-gifts them to girls going to prom, who wouldn't be able to afford a fancy dress, otherwise.
More than 18,000 girls have gotten new dresses so far, and this weekend through March 3, dozens of S.F. venues like Marc by Marc Jacobs and Westfield Mall will set up drop boxes for your donations.
Get to closet combing, then check out where you can donate, and even how you can volunteer, for this worthy and stylish cause.
