And while the thrill of the hunt for us may be scouring pages and pages of e-tailers’ goodies, it can be somewhat dizzying to hone in on what we’re looking for in a snap. So, when Mountain View-based Polyvore came along, we knew it was a match made in shopping heaven.

The fashion-centric, search-engine-like site doesn’t just make it seamless to find garb on the web, but it also has a super-cute community, filled to the brim with lovingly crafted “sets” (a.k.a. shopable collages) created by users.
