This New Site Matches Totally Suit-able Books For The Beach

With the high temps, there is truly nothing more perfect than a day at the beach — the sun shining, calm waves gently crashing, and a chance to improve your tan. Can't you hear the sea calling? But, before you go and lay down your ultra-soft towel at the nearest beach, you'll wanna make sure you have a cute 'suit and a good read. Whether that means lugging along a literary classic or catching up on that latest must-read (perhaps, Fifty Shades, if that's your thing), your book choice can make or break the experience. Luckily, 8tracks advisor and Bay-Area local Kate Imbach is here to rescue us from a potentially disastrous novel and offer some literary inspiration as S.F.'s newest lifeguard book-guard with her new tumblr Matchbook.
Imbach suit-ably pairs book covers with cool, matching swimwear; for instance, if nestling with Agatha Christie's detective novel And Then There Were None is just your thing, then you may love Free People's similarly styled Colorblock Zipper suit. Who knew that being a bookworm was so stylish? Finally, we have a very good argument for judging a book by its cover. Take a peek at some of Matchbook's most rad parings (and, while you're at it, don't forget to rock out at the beach to a carefully curated musical playlist by internet radio network 8tracks.)
