Marvel At Martha Davis’ Latest Line This Friday

Martha Davis
When it comes to sleek, locally handcrafted footwear (that fits like a functional work of art) all roads lead to shoe designing frontrunner, Martha Davis. The queen of S.F. sole continually keeps us on our toes — and whether we're stalking her ultra-gorg studio space or lusting over her gray haircalf ankle booties, we need our MD footwear fix.

This is why we're beyond excited for this Friday's event at The Workshop Residence, where Davis has been
serving as an artist-in-residence of sorts and will show off her spring '12 designs for the very first time.

If you don't know about The Workshop Residence, here's the short of it: It's a space nestled in the Dogpatch 'hood that houses artists of a variety of trades, and invites them in to work and collaborate on the spot. Want to see how the experience fueled Davis's new collection? She'll show you. Take note of the info below and get ready to get a peek into her process...and her newest below-the-ankle wonders!

When: Friday, February 24, 6-9 p.m.

Where: The Workshop Residence, 833 22nd Street (between Tennessee and Minnesota streets); 415- 285-2050.
