Never one to disappoint on the red carpet, Katy Perry put on one helluva beauty show at the American Music Awards last night. Once we got past the graphic winged liner, bright red lip, and Simile gift-wrap hair accessory, we couldn't help but notice that Katy's roots were very, shall we say, apparent. Does this mean she's already sick of the pink hair, or was she just too lazy to hit up the salon before the show? Maybe noticeable roots with pastel hair is the new ombré? We really hope not. Don't get us wrong, Katy looks amazing, but that two-tone hairline is just a mite distracting. Which is a shame, because her updo, created by Renato Campora of Frédéric Fekkai, is stunning. Tell it to us straight, would you do the root reveal, or are you OCD about your hair color?
