There are cool girls you love to hate, and then there are cool girls that you love to love. An example of the latter? Garance Doré, the French style blogger who captures the hearts of style-conscious readers on the regular. Always aspirational but somehow never, ever pretentious, Doré has become this generation's poster girl for effortless beauty — and now, thanks to Into The Gloss, we can have an inside peek into how she maintains that casual-chic beauty.
In the interview, Doré discusses everything from her skin care routine (SPF, and lots of it — she credits her upbringing on the island of Corsica as inspiration for protecting her skin), her addiction to massages ("For one hour, I’m in another world; I totally get high"), and her recent foray into the controversial world of keratin treatments ("I know some people say keratin is dangerous, but I don’t think it’s horrible to do once in awhile"). We love that she, like us, relies on bright lipstick to liven up a less-exciting outfit (she loves Bobbi Brown Matte Lip Color in Pink Lily to add a girly element to her more masculine outfits), and how she chooses perfumes according to how closely they capture the scent of her island childhood. Très romantique, non?
