Watch It Now: A Behind-The-Scenes (Video) Look At Erica Tanov

What with her absolutely gorgeous collection and Bay Area roots, we're huge fans of local designer Erica Tanov. In fact, we've already taken a behind-the-scenes look at her awe-inspiring studio in Berkeley — peep it here if you missed it! So, we were thrilled when we found out photographer and videographer Jona Frank took documenting Tanov one step further, filming the print-savvy designer on the set of her fall 2011 lookbook shoot, which features a collection inspired by Gustav Klimt, Patti Smith, and the color-soaked Tilda Swinton movie I Am Love.
"I met Erica way back when I lived in San Francisco and she sold her line out of her studio on San Pablo," says Frank. "I have always loved her style and wanted to collaborate with her. When I heard about what inspired her while she was creating her fall line, I wanted to illustrate her ideas and give people some insight into her process. There is a lot of thought, a lot of detail, and a story that goes into each piece that she makes. I love this. She has a strong vision and this is reflected in her design and her everyday." Check out the 2 1/2-minute clip above; We promise you won't finish uninspired.
