Dior Homme Opens Its Third U.S. Store, Right Here In S.F.

Dior Homme San Francisco
San Francisco already has one of the best selections of menswear boutiques in the country. And now, to add to the pile of awesomeness, is the brand-spankin'-new Dior Homme shop, which just opened in Union Square.
Located on the eastern edge of the square (at Maiden Lane and Stockton), the two-level, 2,200-square-foot shop was formerly Dior's women's boutique, but has since been transformed into the country's third Dior Homme concept shop (there are also locations in New York and Beverly Hills).

“We’ve always thought San Francisco was a good opportunity for men’s,” Dior's CEO Pamela Baxter tells WWD
. “This is a city where there are men who dress up and social occasions to do so. We started discussions a couple of years ago about opening Dior Homme here.”

The glassy and modern shop, which houses everything from casual shoes to Dior Homme's signature slim-and-sleek suiting, includes a mural by S.F. artist Hannah Stouffer, featuring a rustic tableau of pine trees, mountains, and birds. Check it out, along with more deets, at the link. And note that a new Dior women's shop will be opening elsewhere in town, in the near future. (WWD)
