How To Get Fit In London On A Tight Budget

Everyone responds to autumn's arrival differently. For some Londoners, it's time for a winter-coat shopping spree; others opt for a new cut or color. Some revisit their workout regimens, hoping to discover new and interesting ways to take their fitness levels to, well, the next level. After all, who doesn't want to kick off fall with an extra-bouncy spring in their step?
But, how are we supposed to actually afford to get back into shape? It seems like monthly gym membership prices increase every time we turn around. So, just for you, we've found the classes that make working up a sweat fun — and, best of all, they're cheap as chips (practically). Go ahead: Dig your gym kit out from under the bed.

Hotpod Yoga For those of you who like to get really sweaty in front of your closest pals, Hotpod Yoga is offering a "Bring Your Friend For Free Friday" deal at all of its London studios. The cost of a session is £12. Split between two, that's an incredible price to get one's limbs well and truly limbered.
Morning Gloryville Fancy an early-morning rave? Of course you do. Morning Gloryville is an immersive dance collective that aims to get Londoners grooving before they go to work. Each rave starts at 6:30 a.m., finishes at 10:30 a.m., and includes international DJs spinning tunes, baristas rustling up extra-strong coffee, and "Wake-Up Angels" offering free back rubs. All you need to do is bring a fabulous outfit to shake your tail feather in — plus a clear head and an open mind. We'll see you on the dance floor.
Lululemon Yoga clothing behemoth Lululemon has finally crossed the pond to London. Throughout September, the brand is offering free yoga lessons every Sunday in all of its locations. Just avoid buying half the store while you're there; it would kind of defeat that whole workout-on-the-cheap thing.

Nike Running Clubs Many a Londoner swears that a good run can keep your mind, body, and soul intact. Others (a.k.a this writer) need a little bit of encouragement to hit the pavement. Lucky for the reluctant runners among us, there are the Nike Running Clubs. Free to join, these groups meet every week to sprint (or meander) around the city. And, when you're jogging with a posse, you'll be much less likely to duck into the pub instead.
