Chanel’s Spring Makeup Collection Is A Garden Of Awesome

I'm a pretty happy person by nature, but when things like Chanel's new makeup collection hit my desk, I erupt into a level of enthusiasm that's borderline manic. For spring, the brand created a floral-hued collection inspired by the camellia, founder Coco Chanel's favorite flower, and the result is filled with pure awesomeness. I want everything in it. Everything.
The base of the look starts with a luminous highlighting powder, then evolves into eyeshadows paired with delicate pinks and rosy tones for cheeks, lips, and nails. The line from The Devil Wears Prada may be going through your head right now — "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking." Well, stop that, and look at this amazing makeup. Just look at it. Imagine yourself luminous and put together as the polar vortex lifts. Yep, you'll love it, too. We can bet on it.
The Jardin de Camélias collection is available now, so let's stroll through and enjoy a mere sampling of the new items, shall we? It's been a hard winter, and you deserve some gorgeous new makeup with which to bring forth the rites of spring — think sundresses, outdoor dining, and a basic existence that doesn't involve freezing to death. Let this makeup be the torch that lights the way to the Promised Land of Warmer Weather. Amen.
