In the past week or so, we’ve seen a preponderance of A-list stars dying their hair punky, neon-bright colors. First, Lauren Conrad added purple streaks to her signature honey-hued head of hair, then we saw Katy Perry, no stranger to a jar of Manic Panic, go from bright blonde to an even brighter pink. Now, Kate Bosworth, the ultimate blonde beach babe, has dip-dyed her dome a shade of blue. While this hair trend may feel reminiscent of Proenza Schouler’s beauty look from their famous surf-inspired spring ’10 collection, we think these icons are making the look their own.
