star Kristen Stewart is trying out a new role — as the face of the new Balenciaga perfume.
The actress' mug will rep the brand's newest scent, which will be released in fall '12. Sure, Kristen's had a few praise-worthy moments in print, but the collaboration still makes us ask "WHY?!" Nicolas Ghesquière says it's her "unique sensibility and intelligence" and the fact that "she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga." We'll admit that Kristen is very stylish on the red carpet, but she just doesn't strike us as a beauty spokesperson — the focus will be on her face and she almost always looks like she's in physical pain in front of a camera.
They could totally prove us wrong, but we have to ask: Why would Balenciaga want to associate themselves with awkwardness?
