We have an unabashed and highly publicized obsession with the '90s. Seriously, just type "'90s beauty trends" into our search bar, and hundreds of articles will pop up for your throwback reading pleasure. So, we're quite down for any and all nostalgia when it comes to this beloved decade.
But, when we came across this Huffington Post piece about reviving '90s lipstick looks, we were a little hesitant. You see, we haven't always been 100% positive about the era's lip trends. While there were definitely a few we can still get behind, others don't need to be dredged back up — we're talking visible liner, mud-brown hues, and anything frosted.
Thankfully, the point of the HuffPo story isn't to show us how to copy these often questionable looks exactly — but to find ways to modernize them using today's beauty products. Click over to reminisce about the pouts of yesteryear, and feel free to bring 'em back as you please. (The Huffington Post)
