5 Summer Dresses To Show Off At RM Champagne Salon

Last night, we had the divine task of checking out Nellcôte's effervescent sister, RM Champagne Salon, which officially opens its doors at the end of this weekend. While we were super impressed with the elegant ambiance (think gilded mirrors, flickering candles, intricate lighting fixtures) and sommelier Jason Wagner's (from L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon) surprisingly affordable list of champagne and wine, it was the outdoor patio that caught our attention.
The well-appointed urban respite is the first thing you see after strolling down the cobblestone alley entrance in your pumps. Communal and individual seating (for 150), hanging lanterns, and well-manicured bushes create a casual vibe that's best enjoyed with friends — and a flute of bubbly. We're told that a high-definition projector screen will play Fellini and French black-and-white films, which sounds like the ultimate date night.
But don't get too casual when thinking about what to wear to this highly anticipated Chicago nightlife destination. Based on some of the frocks we saw ladies sipping and slurping (oysters, that is) in, you'll want to dress to impress — even the cocktail waitresses are dressed in wares designed by local style maven Elise Bergman. What do you plan on wearing? Let us know! To get you started, we've picked five dresses perfect for enjoying the not-so endless days of summer on RM Champagne Salon's fabulous patio.
