That said, Netflix may have an answer for us soon on the "original angel" thing. Brit Marling revealed on her Instagram that The OA wrapped production on season 2 of the series. Marling co-created the series with Zal Batmanglij, who directs every episode. Marling stars as Prairie/The OA, a mysterious girl who insists she's the original angel, whatever that it. The series also stars Phyllis (The Office), Emory Cohen (Brooklyn), and Riz Ahmed (he dated Hannah Horvath briefly, among other things).
