Beverly Johnson appeared on Good Morning America today to promote her new memoir, The Face That Changed It All. The author and supermodel also wound up offering her forgiveness to Bill Cosby for drugging her in the mid-1980s.
Johnson originally told her story in Vanity Fair in December 2014. Cosby didn't rape her, or even touch her, because Johnson realized that she'd been drugged and went off on him. She recalls slurring her words as she repeatedly called him a "motherfucker," infuriating Cosby to the point that he forcibly dragged her out of his home and put her in a cab.
This morning on GMA, the first question Johnson was asked is what she would like to say to Bill Cosby. Her response was, "I forgive you."
As far as what she would like to see happen to Cosby, who has been accused of drugging and/or molesting over 35 women, Johnson says she'll leave that to the Justice Department. "I just feel that he's a lightening rod for a much bigger conversation. That conversation would be the rape culture in America."
Cosby has not yet been charged with any crimes in conjunction with the numerous accusations of drugging, assault, and rape raised against him by multiple women. Watch Johnson's interview in the video below.
