Michelle Obama Wants To Be Beyoncé, Because Who Doesn’t?

The First Lady wouldn't mind being queen for a day, People reports. Queen Bey, that is. Michelle Obama sat down with rapper Wale for a quickfire interview after her Beating the Odds Summit to help teens transition to college. After finding out advice she'd give to her younger self ("Don't be afraid and ask for help."), Wale wondered what job she'd like if she weren't First Lady.
"I would be Beyoncé," Obama responded without hesitation. Us too, Michelle. Her primary job qualification? "I've got the hands up," she said, doing her best Single Ladies signature move. This isn't the first time Obama has revealed a touch of Beyoncé envy. "Gosh. If I had some gift, I'd be Beyoncé, I'd be some great singer," she told People back in 2012. And the ladycrush is mutual. "Michelle is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman," Beyoncé penned in a handwritten letter in 2012. "I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to." So really, all of this is further evidence she shouldn't give up her day job because the FLOTUS is #flawless.
