Who she is: Jodie is the founder of DooBop.com, a retailer focusing on brown beauty, and creator of beauty brand Georgia by Jodie Patterson.

What she brings to the table: Jodie believes in "beauty without struggle" and is dedicated to helping women find their mojos. She looks at beauty from an intuitive perspective. Product has to move her in the same way art and music does. She's looking for efficacy, of course, but also for an instinctual and emotional draw to each product.

Best beauty tip: "Beauty is emotion. It's what bubbles and pops inside of you! True beauty has very little to do with dyes and waxes, oils and scents. It's about feeling. Every time we buy a great product, we're actually buying an emotion. Women, tap into your emotions and then mirror those feelings with great product that reflects you!"
