Prince Harry Gets A Proposal & A Smooch From An Australian Fan

Gregg Porteous / Newspix/Rex/REX USA
Prince Harry has spent the some time in the land down under lately, learning about how to help injured servicemen and women and spending time with injured officers. He’s leaving Australia today, and will make his way to New Zealand on Saturday for an official tour on behalf of the queen. It doesn’t look like fans are quite ready to relinquish him yet, though. Victoria McRae, 21, waited for the prince outside the Sydney Opera House along with a massive crowd of farewell bidders. She stood out from the rest, though. McRae — who wore a plastic crown and a blue sequined dress — was holding a hand-painted sign painted with the phrase “Marry Me, Last Chance.” And, for a moment, it seems like Harry might have actually been considering the offer. "I said how about it and he said could he think about it and then bit his knuckles," McRae told Australia's Daily Telegraph.”  While he didn’t end up accepting her proposal, the prince did allow McRae to go in for a smooch — on the cheek. While it's not quite a fairytale ending, the young lady did get to kiss her ginger prince, and we're going to call that a win.
