This Delivery Service Could End Sad Desk Lunches Forever

Soggy turkey clubs and drenched Cobb salads: Consider this your eulogy. Maple has come to town, and its bicycle-bound, David Chang-endorsed meals are here to #runtheworld of lunch (and dinner!) al desko.  Starting today, you can download and sign up for Maple's free app, and within 20 minutes, a locally sourced, artfully crafted, and utterly gorgeous meal will be delivered to your door. Maple combines the talent of top chefs with the freshest ingredients without the overhead costs of a brick-and-mortar restaurant. (Note: Maple is its own dedicated delivery service and will not be working with Seamless.) The best part? Every meal rings up for less than $15.  Maple will offer just three lunch selections daily for $12 each: The wheat-free menu items will rotate, but will always include a vegetarian option, a lean-protein option, and something slightly more indulgent. (We tried Maple's vegetarian enchiladas, which fell into the indulgent category, and frankly, our tummies were satisfied.) Dinner will cost just $15, including tax, tip, and delivery.  For now, Maple is only operating in the Financial District. The creators plan to base their continued expansion on customer feedback. So, watch out for the game-changing service to crop up soon in a neighborhood near you.
