Bobby Brown made a surprising announcement about daughter Bobbi Kristina's medical condition this weekend. The singer was a special guest at the Frankie Beverly concert in Dallas on Saturday when he spoke about his 22-year-old daughter with the late Whitney Houston, People reports. Bobbi Kristina was placed in medically induced coma after being discovered unconscious in a bathtub on January 31. She is currently being treated at a long-term medical facility in Georgia. "Bobbi is awake," the 46-year-old musician told the cheering crowd. "She's watching me." The concert was Brown's second public appearance since his daughter's hospitalization. He attended the Soul Food Festival on April 11 to promote his barbecue sauce and thank his supporters for their prayers. His statement — seen in the video, below — contradicts comments from other sources close to the situation, however. One insider denied to People that Bobbi Kristina had woken up. "As far as I know, there's been no change," a source close to the Brown family told the magazine. "We're still hoping and praying that God will perform a miracle. We are leaving it in God's hands."
