Lea Michele's final days on Glee have been made all the more emotional by the loss of costar and real-life boyfriend, Cory Monteith, who died in July of 2013. The actress saw fit to pay tribute to her late love with one last keepsake from the set.
Michele posted an Instagram photo that shows her leaving the Glee set with a framed jersey belonging to Monteith's character, Finn Hudson. The character's death was written into the show following Monteith's overdose.
Though Michele is now in a serious relationship with Matthew Paetz, the singer has been outspoken about her love for Monteith. Clearly, Glee's cancellation isn't just about ending a long-running acting gig and beloved show. It's also closing a very meaningful chapter of Lea's private life. We trust that Finn's jersey is going somewhere special.
