Looks like pop culture's resident Bonnie and Clyde are at it again. Beyoncé and Jay Z might release an album before the year is up. Grammy-winning producer Detail revealed that he and the Knowles-Carters have something in the works. "I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil," Detail said during a red carpet interview with Billboard. "Me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year." Detail, however, didn't reveal many more, uh, details regarding the project. "In my imaginary mind, I will work to say it's true," he said when asked if the project would be released this year. Bey and Jay are no stranger to working with one another. Their wildly successful On The Run tour dominated much of the music news last summer, both for its artistry and the marital rumors it courted. Both have appeared on each other's respective albums — most memorably being Yoncé's 2003 debut single "Crazy In Love" and the Grammy-winning single "Drunk In Love." (Coincidence? Methinks not!) According to Detail, there's no question as to whether this project will be a single or an album. "When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think 'album,'" Detail said. "You should already know." We'll know when we see and/or hear it, Detail, because for all we know, the project could drop tomorrow. (Billboard)
