Mandy Moore’s Instagram Gives Clues To The Singer’s Heartache

"Message received," the singer-slash-actress captioned an Instagram photo of two road signs warning viewers to proceed with caution as Mercury retrograde was ahead. She added, "#thatexplainsit #theworst." The "it" Moore was referring to is her recent split from her husband of nearly six years Ryan Adams. News of their divorce broke last Friday, the same day she uploaded the 'Gram. Of course, planetary motions didn't have a full say in what ultimately caused the couple to break up. In a statement released to Us Weekly, the couple cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for splitting. "It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways," they said, "and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."
