TheWrap.com has confirmed that Emma Watson has closed a deal to play Belle in the live-action remake of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Bill Condon will be directing the film.
Judging by her own Facebook announcement, Watson's delighted to be sinking her teeth into the iconic role.
