It's time to give those Sex and the City tour buses a fresh coat of paint. HBO's beloved ode to friendship, dating, and cosmos might be coming back to television.
In a new interview with E!, SATC mastermind Michael Patrick King didn't dismiss the possibility of a comeback for Carrie and co. "The mere fact that it is still so alive — and not just on the gym TV's, not just on the Precor, but that people are still wondering about these girls — you never know," King said. "It could come back at some point. All bets are off."
Considering King's pedigree, it's best not to take his words lightly. His latest show, The Comeback, went on a nine-year hiatus before returning to HBO earlier this month. It's been just as long for SATC, which went off the air in 2004. Carrie's return has been a hot topic as of late, thanks to constant rumors of a third SATC film. With the series prequel, The Carrie Diaries, now defunct, we need Carrie back on the small screen where she belongs. (E! News)
