Here’s 12-Year-Old Taylor Swift Proving She Was Born To Slay

2002 was a very big year. We found signs of water ice deposits on Mars. The Winter Olympics went down in Salt Lake City, UT. Brazil won their fifth World Cup. And, a 12-year-old Taylor Swift sung the national anthem at a Philadelphia 76ers game. Oh, and she did it a cappella.
Flash forward 12 years, and Swift has become the record-shattering, hair dying, iPhone-tossing pop star that we know and love. While Randy Jackson might have called young Taylor's performance a touch pitchy, it was clear for an early age that Swift was just born to do it.
Take it away, Taylor.
