It's hard to imagine a world where Brad Pitt isn't Brad Pitt. But, in 1989, the world's biggest movie star was just another fresh-faced, aspiring actor looking for a break.
The proof is in the pudding.
And, in this case, the pudding comes in the form of a recently unearthed still from The Kids Are All Right, a forgotten ABC pilot in which Pitt played a teenager coming of age. But, this isn't just a regular old still, you see. This is a shot of Brad Pitt wearing nothing but a pair of boxers.
How this show didn't get picked up for, like, a thousand seasons is one of life's great unsolved mysteries.

Despite the setback, it wasn't long before the future Mr. Jolie finally got his big break in Thelma & Louise, which just so happened to be another ab-centric role. Since then, Pitt has built one of the more impressive filmographies of our generation, because despite those abs, dude can actually act, too.
To see Pitt flex that muscle, check him out in the WWII shoot-em-up, Fury, which blasts its way into theaters this weekend. And, of course, check out the photo below. (E! Online)
