Reese Witherspoon Brings Back Elle Woods For A Great Cause

Legally Blonde's Elle Woods is one of those rare film characters who just makes everyone feel awesome, especially if you happen to be, say, a fitness guru accused of murdering your husband or a manicurist with man trouble. In this case, however, it's a four-year-old cancer patient named Will who called on the pink-loving lawyer's special brand of sunshine.

Will's mother sent a plea for actress Reese Witherspoon to cheer up her son during his hospital stay. Apparently, the little boy is already a fan.

"Legally Blonde is on the hospital TV, and Will has been watching it, like four times a day," his mother said. "When he feels good enough to want something, he wants Legos and 'The Pink Girl.' He finds comfort in it and loves the Pink Lady. So, if anyone knows Reese Witherspoon, and she would be willing to take a picture of herself holding a note that says 'TeamWill,' or any other shout-out that she can dream up, she would give a little four-year-old boy fighting cancer (and even more so his mom) a big pick-me-up. Hop on the bandwagon and join #TeamWill Reese?"

Hop on she did. Witherspoon pulled together an Elle-worthy pink ensemble and shared a special video message just for Will. Even Bruiser got a mention.
