Earlier today, we showed you this video about Hollywood's evolving representation of the Internet on screen. Now comes the first trailer for Open Windows, a movie literally told from the perspective of an open window on a computer screen. Think Hitchcock's Rear Window for the digital age.
Shot on a shoestring budget, the psychological thriller stars Elijah Wood as a man who wins a dinner with his favorite actress. He also happens to run a fan site dedicated to his crush, played here by former porn-star-turned-actress Sasha Grey. When a third party becomes involved, a twisted game of cat-and-mouse ensues.

Wood seems to be carving out a niche for himself in the world of high-concept, low- budget thrillers, after starring in Grand Piano earlier this year. As for Grey, this is just her latest attempt at mainstream success, after leaving the porn industry behind five years ago.
Open Windows screened at this year's SXSW, but has yet to receive a release date stateside. Check out the almost NSFW trailer below.
