Minds Are Literally Blown In This Adi Ulmansky Music Video

If you're not up on your Israeli pop, you might not be familiar with Adi Ulmansky, an adorable songstress from Jerusalem. But, be prepared to fall in love with her in the video for "Was It You?" with Borgore.
Director Gal Muggia is responsible for the look of the video, which has that detached, hand-held look of mid-aughties Levi's commercial. (Not saying that's a bad thing.)
Muggia's the one who came up with the exploding heads, too. "After listening to the song for a few days non-stop, day to night, I came up with this image of a girl seeing her partner with a fractured head," the director told Dezeen.
Muggia goes a little Inception here, with a "fractured reality" in which artifice butts up against the authentic. Call it a metaphor for our digitally mediated world.
It's also pretty beautiful. (Dezeen)
